A package of FORTRAN subroutines for parameterizing condensation and precipitation processes in mesoscale models is described. The code is tailored to the requirements of operational weather forecasting for the aviation community and for public weather forecasting. As such, the emphasis is on computing efficiency, performance verification, simplicity of design (for rapid problem resolution), and regional tailorability. Results from preliminary testing are presented. A variety of procedures illustrate model attributes such as water mass conservation and physical realism, and some of the algorithm's limitations.
