Adhesion of Phospholipid Monolayers to Planar Supports Deposited with theLangmuir-Blodgett Technique

摘要

The Langmuir-Blodgett technique was used to deposit a monolayer of biologicallyrelevant lipids to solid supports. Factorial experimental design was used to systematically study the influence of variables such as lipid composition and substrate type on the adhesion. The firmness of adhesion was tested in the stripping test, where the deposited substrates were dipped through the lipid monolayer at the air-water interface, kept at a very low surface pressure.
