Feedback Linearization of Parametrized Nonlinear Time-Varying Systems

The purpose of the note is to study the feedback linearization of a parametrizednonlinear system, which is not necessarily linear in the parameters. This in particular includes a result on linearization of a time-varying nonlinear system, in case the parameters are time-varying. The authors derive a necessary and sufficient condition for feedback linearization, depending on the time evolution of the parameters, and a structural sufficient condition independent of the parameters evolution. The authors show that in case of a linearly parametrized system this sufficient condition is equivalent to one of the matching conditions.
