Coping with Capitalism: The New Polish Entrepreneurs

The paper chronicles Poland's impressive Economic Transformation Program (ETP) through the eyes of 75 of its entrepreneurs, based on interviews, and by documenting the experiences of 17 of them. The paper is divided into three sections: a quick review of private sector developments; a summary of the main patterns emerging from the survey of entrepreneurs; and detailed profiles of 17 of them.
