Data in the report from health and demographic surveys present statistics by ageand other variables on ambulatory medical care; prevalence and impact of urinary problems; use of dental services; impaired senses of sound and light; visits to office-based physicians; and prevalence of known diabetes. Estimates are based on the civilian noninstitutionalized population of the United States. These reports were originally published in 1986 and 1987.
