摘要

The objectives were: (1) to enable economically and socially disadvantagedseniors to gain worthwhile and satisfying employment, and become self-sufficient by providing trainee slots in the private sector; (2) to encourage private sector involvement by demonstrating to the task force employers that the program is beneficial in meeting their companies' employment needs; (3) to enable other aging/employment programs around the country to increase their job training opportunities by demonstrating how a successful program is run.
