Ethnic and Cultural Issues in Long Term Care of Minority Elderly

The purpose of the publication is to help service providers to recognize andrespond to ethnic and cultural factors among minority elderly, and thereby improve the quality of long term care available to them. The publication provides information on: (1) some basic concepts concerning culture and cultural systems; (2) how to apply these concepts in the long term care of minority elderly; and (3) how to convey these strategies by the use of actual case examples.
