Sailing Yacht Performance in Calm Water and in Waves

摘要

The Delft Systematic Yacht Hull Series has been extended to a total of 39 hullform variations, covering a wide range of length-displacement ratios and other form parameters. The total set of model-experiment results, including upright and heeled resistance as well as side-force and stability, has been analyzed and polynomial expressions to approximate these quantities are presented.
