Process Development of Thermal Hydrodechlorination

摘要

The properties that make chlorinated compounds so attractive during theireconomic lifetime are closely related to, if not similar to, the properties causing the environmental problems. A very promising method for proper chlorinated waste treatment is thermal hydrodechlorination. This process turns chlorinated waste into HC1, that might be recycled, and into organics which can used as a fuel. The objective of the study underlying this thesis is scaling up thermal hydrodechlorination to a waste destruction process at industrial scale. To get answers to the unknown two installations have been raised: a mini pilot plant, and a bench scale installation.
