摘要

Compounds La(1-x)Ca(x)FeO(3-y) (0 less than or equal to x less than or equal to 0.50) were prepared and characterized by X-ray diffraction patterns were defined to be orthorhombic. The lattice constants of orthorhombic perovskite La(1-x)Ca(x)FeO(3-y) decrease linearly with increasing x. The Mossbauer spectra at room temperature indicate that the Neel temperature drops and the isomer shift decreases with increasing x. The spectrum of La(0.50)Ca(0.50)FeO(3-y) at 80 K shows to hyerfine splitting patterns which may be related to the Fe(3+) and Fe(5+) ions.
