Calculation and Experiment for the Elastic Constants of Single-Ply Cord/Rubber Composites.

摘要

The Halpin-Tsai and similar equations which are used to determine stiffness properties of cord/rubber single-ply from the elastic constants of cord and rubber do not provide adequate accuracy. Determination of the properties from strains directly measured by the Moire technique and resistance strain technique is more appropriate. The elastic constants of single-ply obtained using the above different methods are compared. The essential properties of this approximate composite material model and the results obtained in experimental measurement are discussed in this paper.
