Signal Wave Generator Signals Recorded by the Federal Outdoor Impact Laboratory'sOn-Board Data Acquisition System

The document contains signal wave generator signals recorded by the dataacquisition system (DAS) used by the Federal Highway Administration's Federal Outdoor Impact Laboratory (FOIL) located at the Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center (TFHRC) in McLean, Virginia. The FOIL Test Director and Junior Engineer performed the evaluation testing on September 29, 1993. The Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) supervised the project. The document is accompanied by one 3.5-in (88.9-mm) floppy disk. The disk contains the data that was collected during the testing. In addition to the curve files, header files are also included on the disk. The tests were performed by injecting standard signals from a signal wave generator, serial number 7 (SWG), provided by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) into each channel of the FOIL's data acquisition system.
