摘要

The Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) and the Colorado Department of Health conducted an exposure study. A statistically significant association in young children was found between blood lead levels > or = microgram/dl and soil lead levels of 500 ppm or greater. Arsenic was detected and quantified in urine from 20 (14%) of the 139 persons tested. No toxic urine arsenic levels were observed. All of the urinary cadmium values from the 139 specimens tested were within the normal range of 0 to 5 ppb. Several associations between blood lead or urinary arsenic levels and various risk factors were identified.
