In this paper a formulation and finite volume discretizations of the k-epsilonturbulence model in general coordinates are discussed. Implementation of Dirichlet and Neumann boundary conditions are considered. The need for positive schemes in the implementation of the k-epsilon model is evaluated. Some test problems have been solved in order to assess the performance of the method. Finally, the method is demonstrated by applying it to the calculation of a turbulent flow across staggered tube banks.
