Safety Management Systems: Good Practices for Development and Implementation

摘要

The purpose of this document is to provide guidance to managers and safetyspecialists on the formulation of a SMS. It is directed to the State level, but can be adapted to political subdivisions and others. It is not a procedure to be rigidly followed because each State has its own unique institutional and organizational arrangements which must be considered. Further, the development and implementation of SMS is an evolving process. Good practices will also evolve over time.
