This report summarizes results and recommendations of the Life Cycle CostAnalysis Symposium cosponsored by the Federal Highway Administration and the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials. The symposium, held in Washington, D.C., on December 15 and 16, 1993, was intended to identify implementation issues and research needs to improve the application of life cycle cost analysis for highway project, programs, and policy decisions.
