This report investigates the feasibility of obtaining formation fluid flowproperties from borehole acoustic imaging tools, with particular emphasis on the effects of borehole mudcakes on the acoustic measurements, and develops analysis methods for obtaining formation flow parameters from acoustic imaging data.
