Routing of Unidirectional Packet Radio for Wide-Area Paging Network Control andMaintenance

摘要

The object of this report is to present ways to design a packet radio system forthe paging network control and maintenance. The main interest is laid on the routing of the packet radio, but also other design questions of the packet radio and the paging network systems are considered too. In order to obtain an efficient packet radio network that is also robust against radio path fluctuations and interferences, a new quality controlled packet radio model is presented. Two different routing and scheduling methods that are based on the quality controlled packet radio model are proposed. The first method consists of several heuristic and non-iterative algorithms. The second method is iterative, and it is an implementation of the evolutionary algorithms.
