The Department of Energy (DOE) Lessons Learned Handbook is a two-volume publication developed to supplement the DOE Lessons Learned Standard (DOE Standard: Development of Lessons Learned Programs (DOE-STD-7501-95)) with information that will assist organizations in developing or improving their lessons learned programs. Volume II of the Handbook contains examples of program documents developed by existing lessons learned programs as well as communications material, functional categories, transmittal documents, sources of professional and industry lessons learned, and frequently asked questions about the Lessons Learned List Service. The Lessons Learned Handbook is a living document that will be updated as new information and examples become available.
