The purpose of the manual is to enable trainers to provide family caregivers ofelders with sequenced training which corresponds roughly to the stages of Alzheimer's Disease. It specifically targets African American and rural family caregivers. It is designed to be culturally sensitive and literacy appropriate. Part I (Training for Trainers) provides basic information about the content matter and the people to be trained. Part II (Training for Caregivers) provides single-source, ready-to-use materials trainers.
