The purpose of the grant was to increase survivors' ability to obtain safe affordable housing and increase self-sufficiency. Grant No. 2007-FW-AX-K003 was awarded under Education, Training, and Enhanced Services to End Violence Against and Abuse of Women with Disabilities Grant Program (Disability Grant Program). The purpose of the grant was to develop a collaboration of partnering agencies to enhance services for survivors with mental health and intellectual disabilities. Grant No. 2009-EH-S6-0047 was awarded under the Recovery Act Transitional Housing Assistance Grants for Victims of Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Stalking, or Sexual Assault. The purpose of the grant was to increase survivors' ability to obtain safe affordable housing and to develop individualized plans for self-sufficiency, including financial counseling.
