Small Business Innovation Development Act. 11th Annual Report

The small Business Innovation Development Act of 1982 (P.L. 97-219) requiresfederal agencies with an extramural budget for research or research and development (R&D) in excess of $100 million to set aside a set percentage of these funds (originally a maxium of 1.25 percent) for small businesses. The law also requires federal agencies with R&D budgets in excess of $20 million to establish small business goals for awarding R&D contracts. This report covers activities under this program during Fiscal Year 1993.
