Pesticides in Surface Water from Three Agricultural Basins in South-CentralGeorgia, 1993-95

This report provides a foundation for future examinations of the complexinteractions of pesticides in south-central Georgia streams by (1) describing pesticide concentrations and occurrence in three streams draining agricultural basins, and (2) evaluating the correlations between the two most frequently detected herbicides, atrazine and metolachlor, and measurements of discharge and concentrations of organic carbon and suspended sediment in the stream.
