To accomplish the project objectives, an integrated experimental and analyticalprogram was utilized. It included measurement of initial properties of reinforcement materials and long-term testing of reinforcement materials over a range of worst-case operating conditions. Burst tests of reinforced materials over a range of worst-case operating conditions. Burst tests of reinforced defects in full-scale pipe, evaluation of the mechanical and physical properties of Clock Spring wraps after extended service in the field, and development of a model for calculating the long-term, safe operating pressure of the repaired pipe section were also complete. Thus, the program involved materials testing, analysis modeling, and large-scale validation testing.
