Riparian Community Type Classification for Humboldt and Toiyabe National Forests,Nevada and Eastern California

摘要

Riparian ecosystems on the Toiyabe and Humboldt National Forests were studiedduring the summer field seasons of 1987 through 1989 to classify plant communities and describe associated site characteristics. The study was strongly directed toward the description of riparian site characteristics in addition to the development of a vegetation community type classification to better understand site potential in riparian ecosystems. This report contains the results of this investigative and interpretive effort.
