Kiosk Network Solution: An Electronic Gateway to Government Service

The report presents a vision for the introduction of information technology toimprove the delivery of government services to the customer: the public. This report is the result of the Interagency Kiosk Committee's study. It describes a government-wide (federal, state, and local) electronic service delivery model that incorporates a variety of current and emerging technologies within a national network. This service delivery model is fundamental for realizing the goals of maximizing public access to government information and services, minimizing government development costs, and enabling a common user interface to government service providers.
