摘要

The strip theory program ASAP was developed in which the sectional hydrodynamiccoefficients for a twin cross section can be calculated using different wave interaction schemes. The program is validated with model test results of a Wigley catamaran model sailing at forward speed in the head waves. It was found that the hydrodynamic values are in most cases better predicted with the new developed interaction scheme. The prediction of the heave and pitch transfer function were also slightly improved by this scheme.
