摘要

This report documents an initial analysis of data from a physicl oceanographicfield program conducted off North Carolina between February 1992 and February 1994. Data sources for this study included moored current meters in water depths from 20 m to 3000 m over the continental shelf and slope just north and south of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, hydrographic surveys in the same areas, meteorological and water level measurements, satellite SST measurements, and Lagrangian drifters on the mid to outer shelf and in the near shore zone.
