Development of a Pneumatic Tool Diagnostic System. Final Report. Phase 1

Maurer Engineering Inc. (MEI) has developed a Pneumatic Tool Diagnostic System(PTDS) for rapidly and accurately assessing the performance of air compressors and pneumatic hand tools employed by gas distribution field crews during the construction, repair and maintenance of buried gas lines. The primary tools covered by the system are air compressors, pavement breakers, rock drills and backfill tampers.
