Technical Assistance to Administration on Aging Intergenerational and Multi-generational Demonstration Sites

The goals of the project were: (1) to assure that T.A. and training was toprovide to each of the newly funded intergenerational projects and that it was customized. (2) to promote the effective transfer, dissemination and utilization of current intergenerational program products and best practices. (3) to implement a public awareness campaign that reached national organizations, networks and the media. (4) to analyze the policy implications of the demonstrations and to offer recommendations for future AoA intergenerational initiatives. The products developed included a guide to intergenerational resources; recommendations regarding the public implications of intergenerational issues and programs; and a final report with recommendations regarding the public policy implications of intergenerational issues and programs; and a final report with recommendations to AoA regarding future intergenerational initiatives.
