Study of Latex Condom Aging. Final Report

摘要

In 1988, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) initiated a five-year study(Contract No. 223-88-4285) to determine the effects of environmental parameters on the deterioration of latex condoms. Findings from this study indicated that condoms can be extremely stable. In addition, questions and concerns were raised about the changes in condom formulation since the contract was awarded in 1988.
