Support Under Portland Cement Concrete Pavements

摘要

The report contains the findings of a study that was performed to provideguidance for consideration of structural support in the design of portland cement concrete pavements. The report provides a comprehensive description of the research, including an examination of support concepts and causes of loss of support, a review of related data from numerous field studies, a description of a three-dimensional finite element model for the analysis of the effects of support on pavement response, and recommended revisions to the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Guide for Design of Pavement Structures.
