The Fisher-Calo Chemical and Solvents Corporation (FCC) site is located in theKingsbury Industrial Development Park (KIDP) in LaPorte County near Kingsbury, Indiana. Three groundwater plumes exist under the site and are moving south-southwest. The on-site surface and subsurface soil is contaminated with heavy metals, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and other organic chemicals. Workers may be exposed to these contaminants through inhalation, incidental ingestion, and dermal contact. Based on the information reviewed, this site poses an indeterminate public health hazards. Although there are no data or evidence that indicates there are completed exposure pathways of public health concern, there is insufficient information about potential pathways of exposure.
