The I-95 Traveler Information Services Project is an ATIS implementation tailored211u001eto the unique needs of the Northeast Corridor. The project is designed to acquire 211u001eand disseminate information on roadway traffic conditions, and other pertinent 211u001etransportation information throughout the Corridor. It will utilize a variety of 211u001estatic and dynamic information ranging from transit schedules and call-in reports 211u001eto real-time traffic monitoring data and transit status information.TIS will 211u001eingest, aggregate, and fuse these data in a database architecture that supports 211u001edissemination through a variety of communications systems and services to help 211u001etravelers in the l-95 Corridor choose the most efficient transportation modes 211u001eand/or routes.
