Adaptive Generation of Structured Grids. Part 2. Weighted Least Squares211 Formulation

Based on a general Weighted Least Squares (WLS) formulation, a family of grid211u001eadaptation equations is defined. Some methods from the literature are reviewed 211u001ewithin this WLS framework. To satisfy a number four formulated requirements a 211u001ecompound WLS approach is presented. The adaptation algorithm is applied to an 211u001eairfoil and a wing in transonic flow.
