EPA is giving notice that it is considering several minor changes to the nationalprimary drinking water regulations for lead and copper to improve its implementation. The intended effect of this action is to eliminate unnecessary requirements, streamline and reduce reporting burden, and promote consistent national implementation. The changes proposed in this action do not affect the lead or copper maximum contaminant level goals or the basic regulatory requirements.
