South Central Region: An Export Performance Report on Selected Metropolitan Areas(Contains 1995 Market Details)

This report furnishes 1993-95 statistics on merchandise export sales bybusinesses located in 47 Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSAs) in the nation's South Central region. Metro areas covered in this study collectively account for about 85 percent of total goods export by the 8 South Central states. Metro-level statistics are provied for total merchandise exports and, where permitted by federal disclosure laws, for exports to major foreign markets and by major industry groups. Some degree of market detail is furnished for 26 South Central MSAs. Due to disclosure constraints, product detail is furnished for 26 South Central MSAs. Due to disclosure constraints, product detail is much more limited. Industry-level specifics are presented here for just nine metro areas.
