North Central Region: An Export Performance Report on Selected Metropolitan Areas(Contains 1995 Market Details)

This report furnishes 1993-95 statistics on merchandise export sales bybusinesses located in 66 Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSAs) in the nation's North Central region. Metro areas covered in this study collectively account for about 83 percent of total goods exports by the 12 North Central states. Metro-level statistics are provided for total merchandise exports and, where permitted by federal disclosure laws, for exports to major foreign markets and by major industry groups. Some degree of market detail is furnished for 43 North Central MSAs. Due to disclosure constraints, product detail is much more limited. Industry-level specifics are presented here for just 10 metro areas.
