This document contains the key elements of the Final report of the 1995 WhiteHouse Conference on Aging (WHCoA): Statement of national aging policy, 'The American Community: A Vision for the Future,' and the three broad recommendations for administrative and legislative action developed by the WHCoA Policy Committee; Implementation strategies from the 45 resolutions adopted at the national WHCoA Conference in Washington, D.C., and the recurring and funding-related strategies from the reports of more than 230 grassroots post-Confernence events; and A listing of the final Conference resolutions. The complete text of the final Conference resolutions, as well as all of the implementation strategies proposed, are included.
