Deadliest, Costliest, and Most Intense United States Hurricanes of This Century(and Other Frequently Requested Hurricane Facts)

List of the thirty United States deadliest and costliest land falling hurricanesduring this century have been compiled from all data sources available at the Tropical Prediction Center (TPC). Damages are given both before and after adjustment for inflation. In addition, all major hurricanes which have made landfall in the United States during this century are listed. Some additional statistics on United States hurricanes of this and previous centuries and tropical cyclones in general are also presented.
