The method provides procedures to determine dissolved elements in ambient watersat EPA water quality criteria (WQC) levels using stabilized temperature graphite furnace atomic absorption (GFAA). It may also be used to determine total recoverable element concentrations in these waters. The method contains QC procedures that will ensure that contamination will be detected when blanks accompanying samples are analyzed.
