Comprehensive Facility Review for Easton Diversion Dam, Yakima Project,Washington, Pacific Northwest Region. Examination Report

Easton Diversion Dam, a concrete gravity structure, has a structural height of 66feet and a total crest length of 248 at crest elevation 2184.5. The dam is located on the Yakima River in Kittitas County, central Washington, about one-half mile west of Easton, Wasington, and impounds a reservoir containing 4,000 acre-feet at reservoir elevation 2180.3. The reservoir allows for irrigation diversions to the Kittital Canal, as well as providing a vertical upstream face, and a downstream face that transitions from vertical near the crest, to 2/3H:1V at the toe. The overflow portion of the downstream face is sloped at 1/3H:1V. This is an inspection report of that dam.
