This report describes an investigation of methods and tools in use at StandfordUniversity which are potentially useful in the MIND framework. They include temporal abstraction methods, principles, and software tools for building and maintaining domain ontologies, methods and tools for structured data collection, and techniques for developing distributed information systems.
