The use of Gas-Fired Dryers offer potential for removing production bottle necksin the paper industry. Development to begin to optimize productivity through a better understanding of location and operation of Gas-Fired IR Dryers, and paper/paperboard machines is on-going at the Herty Foundation in Savannah, GA. To help bottleknecks, product capacity limitation, history of machine capacity additions, and availability space for gas-fired retrofit location.
