The early action item task documentation for the I-70 Rural IVHS CorridorPlanning and Feasibility Analysis (I-70 Rural IVHS) study has been divided into reports. The Early Action Projects Executive Summary serves as a guidance document for initiating and deploying 15 top priority Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Early Action Projects identified as integral to resolving a critical problem and/or addressing a high-priority transportation need within the I-70 West Corridor from Denver to Glenwood Springs. The companion document, Early Action Project Appendix, details the background and process used to identify the top 15 Early Action Projects from a global project set. One of the elements scoped in the contract for the I-70 Rural IVHS study requires that early action items be identified and detailed prior to completion of the Corridor Master Plan.
