摘要

The report is Part IV in the series of research efforts that address issues aboutthe preservation of archival materials. Measurements of the absorption of nitrogen dioxide (NO2), a major component of air pollution, by various boxboard materials are summarized. The authors also provide NO2 absorption data on various specially made paper samples incorporating varying proportions of cellulose, kraft, lignin, and calicum carbonate (CACO3), the components used in making boxboard materials.
