The laboratory of Power Systems and Illumination Engineering was founded in 1908.The teaching and research area of power systems is concentrated on power distribution and transmission techniques, relay protection, and power systems quality, whereas the area of illumination engineering includes electrical design, artificial light sources, energy saving in lighting, integrated use of artificial lighting and daylighting, and control systems.
