There have been efforts in the past to determine benefits of angle and parallel211u001eparking. Among the factors considered are the following: Increased number of 211u001espaces when using angle parking; More space for maneuvering when using angle 211u001eparking; Reduced visibility for drivers when backing into traffic from angle 211u001eparking and the increased potential for accidents; Increased time for maneuvering 211u001efrom a parallel parking space; and Reduced roadway width for through traffic 211u001emovements when using angle parking.
