CFD technology for aerodynamic optimization and analysis of e.g. transport211u001eaircraft and other aerospace configurations in industry is discussed. ENFLOW 211u001econsists of a modern 3D Navier-Stokes flow solver, a multiblock-grid generator, 211u001eand post-processing codes for visualization and post-processing of computation 211u001eresults. The ENFLOW Navier-Stokes flow solver is based on well-proven numerical 211u001etechnology. Central-difference methods, multiblock grids, and Runge-Kutta 211u001emultigrid time-like integration are suitable. The flow solver is provided with 211u001eturbulence models having a proven applicability record. It is shown that a large 211u001evariety of 2D and 3D flow domains can be efficiently covered by a multiblock 211u001egrid.
