This report updates a previous report titled Escherichia coli O157:H7: Issues and211u001eRamifications. This update focuses on E. coli O157:H7 as a continuing source of 211u001eillness in humans, improvements in diagnosis, testing and reporting, and reports 211u001eon the prevalence of E. coli O157:H7 in the cattle population as well as post-211u001eharvest control measures.
